Maya Swaminathan, MD, is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. She provides care for a full spectrum of rheumatologic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, Sjogren syndrome, vasculitis, and gout. Away from work she enjoys travel, music, cooking, and spending time with her family.

I chose Rheumatology because I enjoy the challenge of working with complex conditions while also being able to make meaningful impact on patients’ quality of life. My patient-centered approach involves dedicating time to understand each person’s unique story. Together, we tailor the workup and create a management plan that aligns with their individual goals and needs.
