William Duke, MD, FACS

William Duke, MD, is a fellowship-trained thyroid and parathyroid surgeon. He specializes in the minimally invasive surgical treatment of thyroid conditions such as nodules, goiters, cancers, and hyperthyroidism, as well as parathyroid disorders such as hyperparathyroidism and parathyroid tumors and cancer. 

Dr. Duke provides comprehensive head and neck endocrine surgical care to both adult and pediatric patients. In addition to working at MultiCare, he is an instructor of thyroid and parathyroid ultrasound for the American College of Surgeons, published two books on endocrine surgery, and authored over 40 scientific papers and book chapters.

Dr. Duke is one of the first surgeons in the country to be certified in Adult Complex Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS) and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ABO-HNS).
