William Duke, MD, is a fellowship-trained thyroid and parathyroid surgeon. He specializes in the minimally invasive surgical treatment of thyroid conditions such as nodules, goiters, cancers, and hyperthyroidism, as well as parathyroid disorders such as hyperparathyroidism and parathyroid tumors and cancer. He is the Director of Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery in the Otolaryngology department at MultiCare.

Dr. Duke provides comprehensive head and neck endocrine surgical care to both adult and pediatric patients. In addition to working at MultiCare, he is an instructor of thyroid and parathyroid ultrasound for the American College of Surgeons, has published two books on endocrine surgery and authored over 40 scientific papers and book chapters.

Dr. Duke is featured in Seattle Magazine's annual list of the Top Doctors in the Puget Sound for 2023.

    Dr Duke showed so much compassion and kindness. Even though I had an appointment scheduled already for a few weeks out, they graciously moved my appointment up and squeezed me in asap due to the urgency of my situation and a recent trip to the ER. The staff was kind and welcoming, I was taken to an exam room before my appointment time, and Dr. Duke was amazing and patient and walked me through everything and options. You can tell he genuinely cares for his patients. Even though the clinic closed at 5, they all stayed longer for me and for that I am grateful.
