While I did wait 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time to be seen, Dr. Riel took plenty of time addressing my concerns and questions. I greatly appreciate that.

If I could talk to someone or have some communication with someone at the office to give me a clear answer is that would've been very helpful.

Given that I am elderly with a known wrist fracture, I was so grateful to be appointed with a hand surgeon with Dr. Riel's qualifications. I truly felt a part of the decision-making that occurred, and Dr. Riel very patiently answered my questions then proceeded to answer some I didn't know I had.

Dr. Riel was concerned as to how the injections are continuing to work. I explained to him they last about 3 months now, but I said I'm not ready for surgery yet.

As the doctor was about to leave, he said "I should probably examine your wrist" and took about 2 minutes to do so. Other than that he was trying to talk me into having surgery
