Andrea Balazs, ARNP, joined MultiCare in 2017 and has worked as an oncology nurse practitioner in a collaborative practice in Spokane for nearly three decades. Andrea is involved in the care of patients with hematologic disorders as well as all cancer types through all phases of care including active treatment and survivorship. She strives to provide comprehensive, compassionate health care that is patient and family centered. She has a special interest in optimizing symptom management through active treatment as well as palliative care.

    I'm extremely happy to have changed care providers! It's outstanding to have a care provider involved in my care. Having a care provider not communicating with me for over a year was very concerning. Andrea was a great relief and concerned about my health and health care.

    Andrea Balazs was amazing. Kind, thoughtful, and intuitive. She took the time to listen to my concern's. I never felt rushed or stressed about talking with her. She is kind, empathetic, and extremely knowledgeable. She explains medication, symptoms, and outcomes so that a non medical person is acutely aware of the issue and fully knowledgeable. Andrea is an excellent practitioner. You are very fortunate to have someone like her on your team.
