Juan Bala, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician. Dr. Bala has been practicing in Spokane since 2009, joining MultiCare Rockwood Clinic in 2011. He was raised in Spokane, and completed medical school, internship and residency at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Bala’s special interests include preventive care, adult internal medicine and pediatric primary care. In-office procedures include skin biopsies, Nexplanon management, newborn circumcisions and joint injections.

    My first visit with Dr Bala was one of the more pleasant first visits of had with a Dr. He listened to my concerns and addressed them as I asked them. I hope he doesn't retire or relocate, before I do.

    Katie, a third-year student was present. She was very knowledgeable and very caring. She will make a great doctor. Dr. Bala should be congratulated for his training skills in helping medical students.

    I do not like the way he made me feel as a concerned parent trying to get to the bottom of my 18 year old son's illness. I think everyone forgets who is paying for these visits. I truly wish Dr's did not dismiss parents when they accompany their kids. I was just trying to get to the bottom of his Illness and make sure the Dr knew all of the symptoms he was having!!

    I feel that I wasn't getting the answer that I needed for my care. My health is very important to me and I also think it should be as well to the doctor that I im seeing as well and I don't feel comfortable with the doctor. When they have no clue about my health or even have any records of it either. I should be treated equally just like any other patients too.
