Johanna Allen Arntzen, CNM, ARNP

Johanna Allen Arntzen, CNM, ARNP, is a board-certified nurse-midwife who provides compassionate, inclusive care to women throughout their lives. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading novels and short stories, hiking, and listening to live music, especially jazz. Johanna is originally from Tacoma and is grateful to provide care in the community that raised her.

The services Johanna provides include:

• Prenatal and postpartum care

• Contraceptive counseling and management
• Annual well woman examinations
• Gynecologic care

As a midwife, I work to make health equity a reality so every person can reach their full potential for health and well-being. I strive to provide respectful, evidence based, trauma informed, and empathetic care, supporting both emotional and physical needs. I am grateful that midwifery care involves connecting with people in meaningful, uplifting ways. I have learned so much from my mentors, teachers, teammates and the people who come into my care, and I hope to honor them in my work.
