Karin Pearson, ARNP

Karin Pearson, ARNP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who practiced urgent care for nearly a decade before transitioning to wound care medicine. She treats patients with a wide variety of conditions, including chronic diabetes, pressure and vascular wounds, and acute surgical and burn wounds. Her experience in caring for severe wounds sparked an interest in caring for all types of wounds across the healing spectrum. Karin believes that wound healing involves the whole person, not just the underlying disease or injury processes. Equally important to her is empowering patients and families to be involved in developing a treatment plan.

• Specialized treatment, including total contact casting and compression therapy
