I work closely with my young patients' families to determine the best, individualized treatment. It is important that families understand all their options to make informed health care decisions for their children. I also believe it is important for me to know the perspectives of the rest of a patient's care team. This approach helps me understand each child's needs.

If MultiCare participates in Summit Awards, I'd like to nominate Dr. Kimberly Johnson . She has been my son's Behavioral Pediatrician since before he was two (now about to be 5). She has supported us from even before our son was diagnosed with ASD and has been such an advocate and amazing resource since! She takes the time to truly listen, educate, and empower us as a family, ensuring that we always feel supported and informed. Her compassion, expertise, and commitment to her patients make a profound difference. Dr. Johnson is not only an excellent physician but also a true advocate and resource for families navigating developmental needs. Thank you so much for being such an incredible source of support in an area where support is often hard to find.
