Florence Nightingale has always intrigued me. She emphasized a healthy environment to cultivate healing and this is considered the foundation of nursing care. Although we live in the greatest era of technology advancement, basic care and simple environmental manipulations can have the most positive health outcomes. I value taking a holistic approach to treating patients with the compassion they deserve.
