In addition to providing high-quality health care, MultiCare is committed to the relationships we forge within the communities we serve. In the Inland Northwest region, this includes a partnership with one of the most beloved institutions of Spokane: Hoopfest.

As the exclusive sponsor of Hooptown USA since 2019 and the official medical sponsor of Hoopfest since 2017, MultiCare provides free medical care to thousands of participants and spectators at Hoopfest, the largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the world. From competitive to recreational, Hoopfest welcomes teams composed of any age, gender and ability.

MultiCare’s 10-year, $1 million partnership with Hooptown USA goes beyond the tournament itself, supporting development of:

• A state-of-the-art basketball complex in Riverfront Park that made its debut at Hoopfest 2022
• Hoopfest’s network of 30-plus public basketball courts
• A Hoopfest Hall of Fame at Riverfront Park, which opened in 2022
• A new youth basketball league (grades K-6) to make sports more accessible in the Spokane area
