What to expect as an EPFM Patient

East Pierce Family Medicine serves both as a family medicine clinic in the Pierce County area and also as a residency training site for family physician residents.

EPFM offers a variety of clinic and hospital services to our patients. Resident physicians are in years one, two, or three of the three-year training program. Residents typically provide continuity for at least 2-3 years with their patients. Resident and faculty physicians are placed on teams in order to provide coverage for patients when their physician is not available. All residents are supervised by faculty physicians, which can vary between one-on-one supervision and indirect supervision.

Clinic Hours

The clinic is typically open Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. We are closed on major holidays including Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Please contact our office for details.
