SPOKANE, Wash. — MultiCare Health System announced that its Inland Northwest region’s Community Partnership Fund awarded $250,000 to 19 local nonprofits in 2021 focused on addressing substance abuse and mental health issues.

Some of the recipients include Spokane Regional Domestic Violence Coalition, CHAS Health and Lutheran Community Services among others.

“The Community Partnership Fund embodies MultiCare’s value of collaboration,” Dr. David O’Brien, MultiCare’s Senior Vice President and Chief Executive for the Inland Northwest Region, said. “More than just an investment, these funds are symbolic of our commitment to the community as we partner for healing and a healthy future.”

The application process for 2022 is expected to open in January.
