Dr Weindl does an amazing job of connecting with my daughter who is on the autism spectrum, and encouraging her to ask questions and take time to communicate. She cheers on her hard work in school and exploration of hobbies, as well as being active and eating healthy.

We very much enjoyed meeting Dr. Weindl for the first time and both {patient name removed} and I liked her very much. She addressed the issues and provided us with medication that was needed. She explained things very well to my son and treated him as his own person. We found her to be detailed, patient and pleasant and we look forward to seeing her again in the future and building a new Dr./patient relationship.

My child and I thought Dr. Weindl bulldozed over us. She hardly let us get a word In. She talked and talked without pause or opportunity to ask questions. When the rare opportunity did arise where my child or I had the space to speak, she did not ask clarifying or follow up questions so her answers to what she thought she heard was not as relevant as It should have warranted for all the time she took to say it. She gave advice we didn't ask for, and treated me mostly like I wasn't in the room which my child was uncomfortable with. We also didn't get to be involved in the medication decision, at all: she gave us no options, she just told us what we were going to do. We both have a history of trauma and this Dr.'s personality had us feeling like we didn't have a voice that mattered. We would not see her again or recommend her to anyone unless they are looking for a Dr. Who will dominate them.

Dr Weindl provided excellent care. She interacted with my daughter in a way that was great for her and for her age. She spoke to her about her care, what she was going to do, provided information and waited to receive both my and my daughter's consent before proceeding with touch/care, which I greatly appreciated. She spoke to her about good/bad touch and who should and should not be checking sensitive areas and helping her care for her body, in a very age appropriate way, which I really appreciated that that was important to her.
