Awad Ahmed, MD, is board certified in radiation oncology. He uses the latest advancements in radiation therapy to provide the most effective and precise treatments, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and brachytherapy. Dr. Ahmed stays up to date with clinical research to offer innovative technologies that enable him to deliver the most effective care to patients. He also contributes widely to publications on a variety of oncology topics.

Away from work, Dr. Ahmed enjoys exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest through hiking, biking and camping. He feels that the natural beauty of the region provides a perfect backdrop for relaxation and inspiration. Dr. Ahmed loves playing sports and running, but balances physical activity with his passion for reading, whether that be a novel or staying up to date on the latest medical research.
