Brett Gourley, MD, joined MultiCare in September 2014. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, and his medical degree from the Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland. Dr. Gourley completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

He is board certified in and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.

    Dr. Brett Gourley always takes the time to calm my anxieties when having a medical issue by explaining in a way I understand the cause and what it needs to be done to get better. He is ALWAYS so kind and knowledgeable. I trust him completely. He is a great oncologist and also a great human bring.

    I already have recommended Dr. Gourley to another patient in the area. The appointment went very well. Dr. Gourley had familiarized himself with my situation by reviewing previous progress notes, was very knowledgeable about the clinical situation and have a very friendly interaction style. He understood my concerns and addressed them directly. He immediately took on the diagnostic questions presented by the referring doctor from Northern California.
