Chris Heller, MD, joined MultiCare Rockwood Clinic in June 2012. He received his undergraduate degree from Gonzaga University in Spokane, and his medical degree from Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR. Dr. Heller completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in neurological surgery at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, as well as a fellowship in epilepsy surgery through the Epilepsy and Brain Mapping Program at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA.

    Dr Heller is awesome in reviewing options and reviewing the issue each time. I was very pleased with a doctor that gave such a good explanation of the issue and gave all options. Very impressive to put the explanation in a manner that was easily understood.

    Dr. Heller explained and showed us the problem areas and thoroughly explained what he was showing us on the CT results He explained the possible procedures to our satisfaction. ( my daughter in-law and I)

    Dr Heller was awesome. He went through the MRI in detail and explained the problems in terms l could understand. He even drew a diagram to make it easier. He explained the options and agreed to start with physical therapy, then possible injections and surgery as a last resort. I was very impressed with his explanations and speaking to both me and my daughter. I had questions but he answered them before l needed to ask. I was very impressed!

    Dr Heller explained everything from the diagnosis through worst case scenario and best case scenario. He took time to review my MRI with me, show me what's normal and not and the reasons he wants to take the approach he is taking. He was clear, concise, and easy to have a discussion with.

    I will ALWAYS recommend MultiCare Nerosurgery & Spine Center to my circle of people. We are people who are able to afford the for-profit services at NW Specialty Docs. Dr Heller exceeded the services by that group by at least a mile.
