Jestyn Cummings, MSN, ARNP, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine. He earned his master’s degree in nursing, focusing on family medicine. He regularly teaches advanced registered nurse practitioner students and residents. As a lifelong martial artist, actively training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo, he enjoys being able to combine his passion for martial arts and medicine by serving ringside at local martial arts events. He also plays drums, studies history and enjoys spending time with his family.

    I have other health issues and couldn't go with that treatment plan that day, he agreed and that I'd be seen after my heart procedures, 2 weeks after and made the appointment exactly. I was very impressed with the concern he made over all of my health..

    Jestyn Cummings was my provider and I was very happy with my appointment. He went over everything (it's early osteoarthritis in my left hip), explained what's going on, discussed treatment options, answered all my questions, was very informative and friendly, and helped me determine a good course of treatment. I thought it was a great appointment. It wasn't rushed. The X-ray technician (I'm sorry I don't remember her name) was also very nice, as was the nurse who brought me back and took my vitals. A very pleasant visit, a thank you to everyone.

    Dr. Cummings was absolutely amazing! A breath a fresh air. I finally found a medical professional that is taking my concerns regarding my left shoulder seriously. He is going straight to imagining and hoping it isn't as bad as we are thinking.

    Other than the confusion regarding the wrong drug, this visit was wonderful. I went in with a great deal of anxiety anticipating a great deal of pain, but between the nurse and ARNP, I was reassured by their calm manner and attention to my needs and questions. It was physically a very smooth experience.

    Jestyn Cummings said he hadn't seem my type of injury in 20 years in the field so referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. I enjoyed my interaction with Dr./Mr. Cummings ARNP. He was personable, approachable and had a wonderful sense of humor. His sense of humor helped relax me and is the main reason I would very likely refer a friend to him.

    I like that he kept me informed of what he was doing the whole way through. I've never had to get a Cortizone shot before actually, my hand is feeling better today, but he did walk me through the whole thing. It was great.
