Mar, 9 2026It was not a virtual visit, it was in person. He already had his mind made up about my condition before meeting me. He said I needed to take Vitamin D and that would return the high PTH level to normal. He was quite uninterested in my other symptoms and the ultrasound scan detecting what appears to be an abnormal parathyroid gland. I was finally able to convey info about three previous kidney stone attacks which then seemed to cause him to consider additional testing including a nuclear scan to look at/for the other parathyroid glands in case others look enlarged or show an adenoma. His listening skills are rather poor and he seemed to robotically hurry through the interaction.

He didn't minimize my concerns or make me feel like a hypochondriac for advocating for my health. He is a natural born teacher and I learned so much during my visit. I hope the administration knows what an asset he is.
