Kara Ayers, ARNP, MSN, WHNP-BC, is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner who cares for patients from adolescence up. One of the reasons Kara chose a career in medicine is to be an advocate for the LGBTQA+ community, helping make reproductive health care inclusive and accessible to everyone. Her goal is to empower people to reach their health and wellness goals at every stage of life. Away from work, she enjoys hiking, cooking, gardening and spending time with her wife and family.

    Kara was so nice. Possibly the nicest provider I've ever had. She was personable, knowledgeable and patient. She saw me as a whole patient, not just someone there for a annual visit, she asked about things that weren't pertaining to the current visit and made me feel very welcomed and not a bother to her. I hope to be like her one day. She has a gift and I feel so lucky to have received care from her

    She went above and beyond in my appointment to go over everything in detail, gave me options and answered all of my questions and concerns. She was sympathetic that the Pap smears are uncomfortable and she has a natural way of putting people at ease.
