Leanne is a true gem. Very few in healthcare rise t her care, compassion and most importantly knowledge/perspective about women's health. It's really tragic there aren't more providers who understand women, especially hormones and aging. Please, in her honor, place vagina billboards across Spokane! Cheers to a career well done .

Leanne was nice enough, but barely went over any information about pregnancy and seemed a bit judgemental when talking about health history. It was a quick appt where I had to ask about getting the NIPT test and the doppler to hear baby heart beat where she did not offer it. My previous OB was much more informative and did the doppler as procedure at every appt. My provider also forgot to order me the NIPT test I asked for at the beginning of our appointment, I had to come back down from the lab to ask for the vials to take the test. I also had informed her I already did the horizon test and would not need genetic testing for myself since that doesn't change but I do need the panorama test done (which checks the baby's genetics and gender), but they drew the blood for both tests (10 vials total with the other blood tests needed). So 2 of those were unnecessary and it made me feel she did not listen to me at all. Not to mention I needed to wait for the vials, since my provider forgot to order them, from the office to go back up to labs to have it drawn so it added about a half hour to my visit.

I did not like Leanne Zilar, this was a very negative experience for me. She had an attitude the entire visit, made me feel very uncomfortable when it came to asking questions about ultrasounds because this is my first pregnancy. Her information was very lacking when it came to needing to know reasons why I need to wait to do things instead of just "her opinion" the lack of communication between the midwives is astounding as I'm getting multiple answers for the same questions when it should be one one simple answer. She didn't help me learn anything since I am a new mom and made me feel stupid when it came to the questions I asked. I will not be revisiting her or her team. There is lack of communication and I didn't enjoy this.
