Linnea Welton, MD

K. Linnea Welton, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with specialty training in sports medicine, hip preservation, and knee preservation. She is one of few surgeons who can perform complex hip and knee arthroscopy, and one of even fewer who performs complex bony realignment procedures of the pelvis, femur and tibia. By using a minimally invasive approach, Dr. Welton can reduce injury to surrounding tissues.

Her research in the field of hip preservation and sports medicine has focused on the development of many surgical improvements. She continues to strive toward improving the standards in the field.

Away from work, Dr. Welton is an avid backcountry skier, mountaineer, long-distance triathlete, and mother of two awesome kids.
