Research:
- Transient shivering during WADA test provides insight into human thermoregulation.
- I assisted in implementation and data analysis. I gathered cerebral angiograms from WADA patients and reviewed them personally with the radiologist and maintained a database of data collection. I also assisted in manuscript editing.
- High inter-reviewer variability of spike detection on intracranial EEG addressed by an automated multi-channel algorithm.
- I assisted in implementation and data analysis. I was one of 3 independent neurophysiologist who reviewed all the ECOG recordings in the study and personally marked waveforms that were epileptic in nature which was used in comparison for this study. I also assisted in manuscript editing.
- Improving safety outcomes in the epilepsy monitoring unit.
- This study was my conception, design and I wrote the manuscript, was involved in data analysis and interpretation and patient recruitment.
- Evaluating reverse speech as a control task with language-related gamma activity on electrocorticography.
- I assisted in implementation and data analysis. Several of my epilepsy surgical patients were used for the study and my functional mapping of motor and sensory cortex as well as language was used by my colleagues in analysis.
- Multimodality language mapping in patients with left-hemispheric language dominance on Wada test.
Practice Philosophy:
Having a child with epilepsy, I know firsthand how important it is to treat seizure disorders quickly and aggressively, but in a manner that takes into consideration the patient and their family as a whole. I will use my extensive experience and expertise in this field so that we collectively as a partnership decide the best care for your individual needs.

Epilepsy, EEG, clinic neurophysiology, women and pregnancy planning with epilepsy, medically intractable epilepsy, VNS programming, RNS programming, epilepsy surgical planning, post-traumatic care.
