Mercedes Zoeteman, MS, LCGC, is a board-certified genetic counselor with a focus on pediatric and adult general genetics. She has worked as a pediatric and general genetic counselor since her graduation in 2019. Mercedes has a diverse background in genetics working with families in Baltimore, MD and now with patients in Tacoma, WA.
She has special interests in metabolic conditions, newborn screening, cardiogenetics, psychiatric genetic counseling and ocular genetics.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outside, walking her dog Penny, baking, learning new recipes, reading and camping with her family.
