Michelle Hood, MSN, ARNP, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in women's health. Her master's degree focused on gaining expertise to serve women throughout their lifespans. Michelle specializes in labor & delivery, and postpartum care.     Michelle Hood is wonderful. She is professional, friendly and attentive. She answered questions regarding my medication and current issues I'm dealing with with menopause.

    {patient name removed} balance and strength have declined from walking independently to relying on a walker full time since {date removed}. We were there to learn results of his MRI and for him to talk the mini-mental assessment. She was ready to let us go when {patient name removed} asked about his results (he's intellectually disabled). This was 23 days since the results were in.

    To be fair to the provider this visit was for a complaint she needed to do additional imaging and possibly a biopsy. She needed to direct the course of action. We did not discuss treatment options yet as a diagnosis has not been made.

    Michelle Hood was wonderful, although she shared with me the concerns about my health she talked me through the procedures and care plan that we needed to accomplish in order to achieve an acute diagnosis. She performed the procedures very thoroughly and with extreme care and efficiency even though I was nervous she did everything possible to put my mind at ease and keep me informed of everything she needed to do and gave me ample time and tools to aide in my recovery, so grateful to her and Dana for their patience and professionalism and expertise in their field to proceed with my Healthcare!!! Thank you so very much!!

    There is no way an endometrial biopsy should be performed all the patient is awake. It is extremely painful.
