Mohamed Elshazzly, DO, offers the full spectrum of general pediatric and adolescent medicine services. He has experience working with a wide variety of complex patient presentations and disease pathology. Dr. Elshazzly enjoys building open and cooperative relationships with patients and their families. He especially enjoys counseling adolescents and first-time parents.

    Dr. Mohammed is such a caring doctor. My daughter {patient name removed} is only two, and like most toddlers, she's always a little scared of doctors, but you can tell he really cares. His smile is so warm and genuine,and even when she's terrified, he always stays calm and patient. He talks to her in a way that's encouraging, and he really tries to make things easier, which means a lot to me as a girl dad. Its rare to find a doctor who is not just professional, but also so sincere and kind. He takes the time to explain things and never seems rushed, which makes the whole experience a lot less stressful. Even though {patient name removed} cries sometimes, or all the time, I can see she's picking up on his kindness and it's helping her trust doctors a little more. We're really grateful for his care and the way he handles even the tough moments with such warmth.

    Dr. Elshazzly is the best of the best! I recommend the Covington Peds care team to everyone I know, but I recommend Dr. Elshazzly in particular. My wife and I couldn't be happier knowing our daughter is under his care.

    It's not hyperbole to suggest that Dr. Elshazzly is the best pediatrician in the region. This clinic is full of awesome care providers whom I'd trust with my daughter's care, but he's the one I recommend the most. He's very personable and extremely detailed. He articulates things very well which is relieving as a first time parent. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Elshazzly and his commitment to his patients. My wife and I are very appreciative of his care.
