She was very good. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable talking to her. I appreciate that she is a female minority. Representation manners to me.

It felt rushed, but the conversation was full - I came in with the understanding that I have my own agency in how I want my health to be addressed, understood, and where possible, treated. One does have to have an understanding of health literacy, and that is a systemic issue, so if you don't know, you are out of luck. I wish that we could have gone over questions about nutrition, I clarified on other points - and they had follow up questions and were curious about what I shared.

Doctor Ngo described everything in full detail before she did the procedure and as she was doing the procedure.

Was just transferred to this provider, first time I saw her. A same day appointment was provided to go over breast biopsy results. Provider went over results, said she was sorry to tell me I had breast cancer and she would refer me to breast surgeon/oncology ASAP which she did. I don't have a relationship with this provider and felt she was nice enough but felt she wasn't prepared to see me. The cancer thing was new info, didn't know what to say or ask. The weight of the prognosis and not knowing the provider left me feeling apprehensive. Hoping this will change as I get to know her better.

My nurse practitioner is very thorough. She is the best primary provider I have ever had. Listens to me, has questions for me to help resolve a concern. My B12 was high. Questioned me on food items which may have an affect on level. After answering no to several items, she thought it may be my multivitamin. We were not able to figure out which Alive! Vitamin it was by pictures of the product. She asked me to check when I got home. The B12 in my vitamin was 1667% Daily Value. One of several examples.
