Practice Philosophy:

Born in the USA and raised in two different countries, I’ve had the distinct honor of treating patients with a wide spectrum of backgrounds; from the privileged to the forgotten, from servicemen and veterans to refugees and displaced persons. My upbringing and experiences have shaped me into the physician I am. The multiculturalism and diversity I carry helps me connect with my patients on an empathetic and compassionate level. My core principle is to make sure each patient understands their disease fully and the treatment options they have. I want to make sure patients do not feel rushed and feel like they are heard. It is important that patients leave feeling confident in the care they receive.

Special Interests:

Advanced heart failure cardiology, mechanical circulatory support, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and heart transplant.

Slight improvement could be made in breaking down medical terms into clearer language for a non-medical professional.
