He received his medical degree from the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. Dr. Ionescu completed an Internship in internal medicine at the Grivita Hospital, and also completed an additional year of training in nephrology and hypertension at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City. Dr. Ionescu is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Medical Association and the Spokane County Medical Society.

    Dr. Ionescu always listens to my concerns, he actually hears what I am saying and proceeds accordingly. No matter how silly I think a question is he never diminishes the issue and follow through is always the best.

    I saw Dr Ionescu for the first time and he is the best provider I have seen in 30 years. He took his time, I didn't feel rushed. He answered all my questions and showed genuine concern and interest. I feel very lucky to have him as my primary provider.
