Practice Philosophy:

As a pediatric nurse practitioner and lactation consultant, I have a particular fondness for infants, newborns, and breastfeeding mothers. I believe in supporting mothers in however they choose to feed their babies, but loves supporting moms who wish to breastfeed while they navigate the ups and downs of establishing a supply through to when they eventually wean.

    I don't appreciate being told "get off google" when asking questions about my child's health and care. The level of condescension was both mind blowing and offensive.

    My only complaint was that I had to wait in the exam room for more than 30 minutes after the nurse left for the provider to come see us. When she arrived, she didn't really apologize for the long wait, but just stated that they had had patients who had been asked to come in later, but hadn't gotten the message. She didn't really explain anything else or really apologize for having to wait that long. I was late for work because of it.
