Stuart Tonack, CNM

Stuart Tonack, CNM, MSN, is a board-certified nurse-midwife specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. He provides full scope midwifery care, supporting patients through every stage of reproductive and gynecologic health with an emphasis on partnership, education and individualized care. Stuart’s clinical interests include preconception counseling, prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, as well as routine gynecologic services. He also supports patients with contraception counseling and management, perimenopause and menopause care, hormone replacement therapy counseling and management, and sexually transmitted infection (STI/STD) screening and treatment.

Inspired by his mother’s work as a labor and delivery nurse, Stuart began his career as a labor and delivery nurse before becoming a nurse practitioner in obstetrics and gynecology. Outside of work, Stuart enjoys spending time with his family, skiing and snowboarding, playing basketball and tennis and cheering on the Portland Trail Blazers.
