What to expect
When coming in for you eye exam, please plan to be prepared for the following:
- Bring your health insurance cards and co-payment to your appointment. If your insurance requires a referral, please contact your primary care provider.
- If you have a driver’s license form, please bring it with you for your appointment.
- Bring the glasses you usually wear and any newer or back-up glasses to exam, even if you do not usually wear them. If you wear contact lenses, please wear them in and let us know what solutions you are currently using.
- Bring a list of all of your current eye medications.
- Transfer all of your prior eye exam medical records to MultiCare. These should be sent to our clinic before your exam or brought with you to your appointment.
- Your eye exam will usually take one to one and a half hours. It’s possible your eyes will be dilated, and we recommend that you bring someone with you that can drive you home.
