Douglas Chieffe, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist. He attended medical school at the University of Vermont and completed residency at the University of Minnesota. He then went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary / Harvard Medical School. Dr. Chieffe is the program manager of the Hearing Loss Clinic and Cochlear Implant Program. Dr. Chieffe has expertise in the breadth of pediatric otolaryngology with a focus on caring for children with conditions of the ear and hearing. 

In his spare time, Dr. Chieffe enjoys running, fly fishing, mountain biking and skiing.

  • Pediatric hearing loss, including ear reconstruction and hearing implants (cochlear implants and bone conduction implants)
  • Pediatric ear conditions (eardrum perforation/hole, cholesteatoma, chronic infections, etc)

  • Pediatric obstructive sleep apnea (including Hypoglossal nerve stimulation /Inspire®)
