Sunshine Pille, PA-C
Sunshine Pille, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in colon and rectal surgery. She provides collaborative, patient-centered care across the spectrum of colorectal conditions, with a strong emphasis on education, prevention and follow-up care.
Sunshine served eight years in the United States Air Force, completing two deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. During her service, she led high-acuity clinical operations and oversaw specialized readiness initiatives. One highlight of her military career was training and collaborating with NASA to support shuttle recovery missions. Her journey into health care began during her years in the United States Air Force, where her early roles in emergency medicine, flight medicine and high acuity environments sparked a deep appreciation for the impact skilled clinicians can make in moments of vulnerability. The combination of service, teamwork, and purpose became the foundation of her commitment to a career in medicine. Outside of work, she is devoted to family, celebrates two children thriving in young adulthood, stays active with her two large rescue dogs and enjoys time outdoors and traveling.
