About paperless billing via MyChart
MultiCare automatically enrolls patients in paperless billing, meaning that billing statements and notifications are sent by email, in the MyChart app and via text message instead of mailing paper statements.*
Paperless billing statements are more secure for our patients and better for the planet. Plus, viewing and paying bills online is easy, whether you are using the MyChart website or app.
MultiCare also sends balance notifications to customers via email and text message with direct pay links for added convenience. Patients who are not currently receiving billing-related text messages can enroll at any time by texting START to 52109.
For text messaging, message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. Text STOP to opt out of text notifications.
Patients may opt out of paperless billing at any time to switch back to receiving paper billing statements in the mail. See our FAQs below to learn how.
