About Navos Behavioral Health Hospital

Navos opened its doors in 1966 as Highline West Seattle Community Mental Health Clinic. The clinic’s mission was to provide affordable, accessible mental health care to south and west King County residents. In 2008, the clinic became known as Navos, and over the years has expanded its capabilities for treating children and adolescents by merging with two historic community organizations: Ruth Dykeman Children’s Center and Seattle Children’s Home.

Today, Navos provides a broad continuum of care for children, adolescents and adults experiencing mental illness or living with a substance use disorder. Our services include outpatient therapy, substance use disorder treatment, inpatient care, adult residential programs, specialized services for older adults and more. At Navos, we believe in recovery and that every person has the potential to live a full, healthy life.
